Columbus is home to the largest Race for the Cure in the country, and in addition to raising awareness about researching, treating and curing breast cancer, it also raises funds: 100 percent of the race's net proceeds—more than $1 million in 2020 alone—go back to Komen Columbus and the Susan G.
