Find one-of-a-kind gifts at annual Winterfair 33rd annual fine art and fine craft fair takes place this weekend at Ohio Expo Center Shoppers have just three days to explore this year’s Winterfair, the 33rd annual juried fair of fine art and fine craft by more than 400 artists from across the country.

Held Dec. 4-6 at the Ohio Exposition Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds, this artists’ market features ceramics, glass, wearable art, jewelry, sculpture, painting and photography.

Discerning shoppers will find everything from a beautiful print for their office or home to a handcarved wooden bowl for salads or snacks.

“Winterfair offers a colorful, alternative shopping experience,” said Sharon Kokot, executive director of Ohio Designer Craftsmen, fair producers.

Franklin County Children Services’ (FCCS) Holiday Wish needs community donors to sponsor nearly 4,500 abused, neglected and troubled children.

These children may live with their parents, relatives or foster parents.

There is no guarantee these children will receive a gift for their special holiday without the sponsorship of individuals, businesses and community groups who donate new toys for children age 11 and younger, and monetary donations for older children.

During the years, many caring donors have given generously, making it possible for thousands of children served by FCCS to

have a joyous holiday.

Long-standing donor Walmart Logistics Center takes the holiday wishes of 200 children each year, ensuring they have gifts to open. JC Penney Logistics and Receiving Departments rally their employees and donate money to sponsor teens.
