Gregg R. Lewis is a native of Columbus who has been a practicing attorney in Central Ohio for nearly 25 years. In 1981 he was assigned to assist senior assistant prosecutor Tom Beal to investigate and prosecute Dr. Donald Plotnick. Dr Plotnick, a podiatrist, with a past record of gun charges, was indicted on arson charges relating to lighting a drug dealer on fire in the attempt to collect a drug debt.

Attorney Charles E. Smith, Jr. was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University and studied law at Fundacao Getulio Vargas University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
