Go Bucks! Luncheon set for Nov. 20 Come and join us for the annual GO BUCKS! Luncheon in preparation of the BIG football game on Saturday, Nov. 29! This luncheon will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20. We are excited to have Dimitrious Stanley as our speaker to share his insights and expertise on the Buckeyes, past and present. Dimitrious is a long-time resident of Columbus, Ohio. Dimitrious played for Thomas Worthington High School and then The Ohio State University from 1993-1997. It was in 1997 that he set a school record for the longest yard touchdown as he ran a touchdown

72 yards in the 1997 Rose Bowl. He then went on to play for the Miami Dolphins and in the Canadian Football League. After Dimitrious returned to Columbus, he used his quick wit and knowledge of the game to become the city’s favorite Saturday sportscaster on ABC6 and 97.1 The Fan. He is well known for his sense of humor and definitely his fashionable suits. Credit Union of Ohio and Daruma Steakhouse and Sushi will be sponsoring this luncheon. Facebook for Business seminar set for Friday, Nov. 21. Do you want to know how to optimize your business’s Facebook page? You Have a Business Facebook Page – Now What? We are excited to bring Joey Thomas of Thomasonian Media to teach an hour-long session on Facebook on Friday, Nov. 21 at Indiana Wesleyan University, 3455 Mill Run Drive, Suite 200. The cost is free for Chamber members and $8 for prospective members and guests.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. and the class begins at 8:30 a.m. Seating is limited so don’t delay in registering yourself at www.hilliardchamber.org.

Volunteers needed! The Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Hollyfest Arts and Crafts Show which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Hilliard Davidson High School. There will be 118 crafters who will fill the gym and fieldhouse areas catering to the over 6,000 shoppers! We need

volunteers the morning and early evening of Friday, Dec. 5, and all day on Saturday, Dec. 6. This

is the Chamber’s main fundraiser and it requires MANY volunteers to make it a successful event. You can help and connect with other community members while you work! Contact the Chamber office to sign up at info@hilliardchamber. org or (614) 876-7666.

Rusty Bucket owner Gary Callicoat and Hilliard Mayor Don Schonhardt cut the ribbon at its recent opening. Also attending were other staff members from the Rusty Bucket as well as Chamber and City Council representatives.

The expansion of Massage Envy at 3965 Trueman Boulevard was celebrated with a ribbon cutting for its new look. At the ribbon cutting were: Jonathan, Gregory, Kathleen and Denise Turner, Mayor Don Schonhardt, City Council Kelly McGivern, Chamber President Libby Gierach, City Council Joe Erb and State Representative Stephanie Kunze.
