Speaker application now open for TEDxHilliard 2016: Drive Applications are due no later than May 20! May 20 is the deadline to apply to be a speaker at this inaugural event. Speakers who can inspire, predict, reflect, challenge, educate and/or resonate are wanted. Founded in 1984, TED is devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (between 5-18 minutes). The first TED conference created the platform where technology, entertainment and design converged. Today TED events cover almost all topics—from science to business to global issues. The inaugural
TEDxHilliard aims to answer an aspirational call: showcase some of our best and brightest thinkers, doers and visionaries with ideas that will shatter bias, ignite creativity and move action. The theme for TEDxHilliard is DRIVE and speakers should share the ideas and motivations that propel them forward. More information at tedxhilliard.org.
