Reserve your space now: April 17 Chamber Luncheon We are very excited to host United States Representative for the 15th District Steve Stivers on Friday, April 17 as our speaker at Heritage Golf Club. Stivers is currently serving his third term as a Member of Congress and represents Ohio’s 15th Congressional District. Stivers is serving his third term on the Financial Services Committee, which oversees the banking, insurance, real estate,
public and assisted housing, and securities industries. In addition, Stivers has been tapped to serve on the Committee on Rules, which is charged with determining which bills reach the House Floor for a vote. Historically, the Committee is often known as “The Speaker’s Committee” because it was chaired by the Speaker
up until 1910 and is the means through which the Speaker of the House manages the House Floor. The Committee also determines how long and under what rules the full body of the House will debate each bill. Thank you to Lardiere McNair, LLC and Mapfre Insurance for sponsoring this luncheon! Chamber members recognized at Annual Meeting Two chamber businesses and a chamber member were honored at last month’s annual meeting luncheon. The Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates these deserving

Taste of Hilliard & Business Expo 2015 The 6th Annual Taste of Hilliard & Business Expo will be on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015 at the Makoy Center from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Last year we had over 25 restaurants and 50 businesses participate. Those that had a booth were extremely pleased with the turnout and felt that it was one of the best events that they had done in the community! Over 1200 people came through the doors to taste the food and see what businesses had to offer. Save the date for your calendars!
