Last week, on Friday, November 11th, the valley paused to honour veterans who fought for freedom overseas. Here Australian-born Fairmont Hot Springs resident John Wood, who served with the Royal Australian Engineers corps before becoming a Canadian citizen, lays a wreath in memory of his colleagues at the Invermere cenotaph.
