The Slow Food Canada National Summit kicked off in the Columbia Valley on Wednesday, April 6th and David Thompson Secondary School chef training students (including Georgia Moneo, right, holding the “slow” bread) did their part by preparing a total of 600 appetizers with locally sourced products.
