At Columbia, it is your ability that matters. Not your ability to pay. Columbia’s approach to affordability is simple. Needbased. Need-blind. Full need. Undergraduate admission to Columbia College and Columbia Engineering is need-blind for US citizens and permanent residents, persons granted refugee visas by the United States, and undocumented students living in the US, meaning there is no disadvantage in our admission process for students who have fnancial need. We determine fnancial aid eligibility by evaluating your family’s ability to pay for education costs. And then we cover 100% of the demonstrated fnancial need for all frst-years, for all four years of study.
