NUMSA OBO Members referred a dispute to the Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council against Defy Appliances, concerning the application and interpretations of the Main Collective Agreement. Their claim is based on clause 7 of the Main Agreement which allows payment of leave enhancement ( bonus) pay in respect of the number of shifts lost during short time.
