18U A COMPETITIVE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The goal of the 18A Team is to compete with the best in state, compete at a high level out of state, and actively participate in the recruiting process (if applicable to the athlete). This team will travel to approximately 3-4 out of state tournaments. The tournament schedule will consist of events that will provide a quality experience, a higher number of guaranteed games, and exposure opportunities to meet the needs of the athletes. Tournaments will include: EL1, Colorado USA Softball, Perfect Game, IPGSA, USA Fastpitch

Head Coach: Chris Hutton

Chris fell in love with the game of softball when her best friend asked her to join their team. She spent her childhood on the Colorado State campus surrounded by athletes. Chris went on to play for Colorado State and then semiprofessionally after college. All three of her daughter’s followed in her footsteps and also played at Colorado State.

Chris has been coaching softball for over 20 years and has helped many athletes reach their dreams of playing in college. Her focus is to develop student-athletes in their mental, emotional, and physical skills in a positive environment.
