D’Epagnier, Wiley, and Fixmer arrived at the game two and a half hours early to make sure they got a front row seat. “We had just scored to go up by 20 against the number one ranked team in the state,” D’Epagnier said.

“I like setting because it’s the component of the game that ties in offense and defense, so you get to play both sides,” Wetterstrom said. Wetterstrom and her teammates beat Silver Creek in three games. “Anytime you play a rivalry school there is a lot of passion and emotion in the game and it’s just fun that we got to play people we knew and we ended up winning.” Photo by Katie Byrne

NHS hosted the donut game booth as an effort to raise money for the hurricane relief efforts. “It was a lot harder than it looked to get a bite out of the donut and I felt really awkward, but it was for a good cause.�
