Here Comes the Sun Students in Kathryn Wells’ Read/ Write class experience the solar eclipse together during the schoolwide eclipse viewing activity.

Eaglecrest students were part of the 50,000 Cherry Creek School students who received a pair of viewing glasses for the event and had a chance to see this rare occurence.

It’s in our Preparation Jonathan Heupel • 18 • maxes out on his deadlift during summer practices for football. Coach Mike Schmitt spent the summer instilling the importance of staying fit prior to the fall season—a mentality that has paid off so far this season as the team is undefeated.

Eyes on the Endzone Varsity running back Victor Garnes • 18 • looks downfield on his punt return in the game agains Grandview High School. Garnes ended up with a 25-yard return on the play, and the Raptors won the game 21 - 14 in one of the Denver Post Games of the Week.
