After being down two touchdowns at the half, Jes Ramirez ‘18 scored three touchdowns to bring the final score to 28-21. “Trailing Fort Collins for more than half of the game was tough, but our team never gave up and played until the very last whistle,” Coronel said. “This win meant something in the moment, so I took it upon myself to jump on the fence and turn to the team instead of the crowd. The Poms team and junior and senior boys modeled clothes from JC Penney’s, Target, Lu Luroe, and Maurice’s to raise money for the Poms’ competition season. “We got to walk into all of these stores and pick outfits that represented who we are. We modeled clothing that community members could purchase from vendors at the fashion show,” Moots said. “We are pretty lucky to have so much support from different businesses in our community so we can compete in competitions.” photo by a. predmore
