A man kayaks in Clear Creek along the Golden Whitewater Park on June 19. The city of Golden and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department had banned all water activities on the creek since mid-April, but the restrictions on kayaks and paddle boards were lifted on June 4. Just don’t expect to see any inner tubes making their way down the creek—those remain banned for now under the modified order. PAUL ALBANI-BURGIO
