Thornton’s Carpenter Park to host new event Aug. 26

ornton’s Carpenter Park will transform into a celebration of craft brews, ne wines, spirits Aug. 26 with the city’s Barrel and Beer Festival.

“ is immersive celebration promises an exceptional blend of craft brews, ne wines, spirits, and sensational live music, making it an unmissable experience for residents and visitors alike,” says ornton Parks, Recreation and Community Programs Director Doug Romig.

e festival is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Carpenter Park Pavilions, 3498 E. 112th Ave.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 on the day of the event, and tickets for designated drivers are $10. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit goCOT.net/barrelandbeerfest.

So far, nine local breweries, 10 local wineries and 8 distilleries have signed on to participate in the inaugural event. ey include ornton’s Mother Tucker Brewery, Littleton’s Mystic Mountain Distillery and Bailey-based Aspen Peak Cellars.
