Cowboys risked life and limb Feb. 28 at the third annual Castle Rock Bulls event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Bulls from around the country were brought in for the event that saw both children and adults compete. Seventy-five riders competed for the bull-riding title and championship buckles. The event included cowboy hats and boots for sale, the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Court and a petting zoo for kids. Former and active military members were also honored.
