150th anniversary celebration this year. As it looks back on its history and partnerships, the brewery wanted to support projects that would have a long-lasting impact on Golden, its arts and culture, and its opportunities for community members to connect.

To that end, the brewery is sponsoring Wild West Oktoberfest Sept. 22-23, and then hosting a big 150th-anniversary event Sept. 30 in Golden. While details were still being nalized on Aug. 1, Golonka recommended everyone mark their calendars for this milestone celebration.

“We (at Molson Coors) just have such a special story in Golden,” Golonka said, adding how the Sept. 30 event will highlight the brewery’s longstanding partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits. “ … We’re really excited for the next 150 years.”
