Brewery steps up for St. Patrick’s Day BY DEBORAH GRIGSBY DGRIGSBY@COLORADOCOMMUNITYMEDIA.COM
It’s never too early to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Cloudy skies and a chilly breeze did not keep hundreds of thirsty patrons from hitting New Terrain Brewing Company for a high-stepping afternoon of dance, music and of course — beer. The Golden-based brewing company hosted a St. Patrick’s Day party Saturday, March 12, at its spacious taproom on North Table Mountain Parkway. The Connolly Irish Dance School dancers performed traditional Irish jigs and other festive steps. The Alcapones, a Nederland-based group, performed original ska and reggae music sets. Food trucks served up a tasty menu of traditional Irish fare, including corned beef and cabbage.

Along with traditional Irish step dancers, partygoers were also treated to original Ska and reggae music by the Alcapones. The brew was flowing, and food trucks delivered a delicious menu of traditional Irish fare.
