Mother Nature clearly thought there wasn’t enough snow on the Meyer Ranch sledding hill for a snowtubing competition, so she sent more. Saturday morning, as teams were carrying their inner tubes up the hill and racing down, a flurry of new flakes definitely helped 285 Winterfest live up to its name. The Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual event typically includes a beer crawl, snowman-carving competition and other aspects. However, this year, snowtubing was the only official part of the event because of the pandemic. About 16 teams with four participants each took turns sliding down the long

Minimum requirements: 2 years of experience, an RN or BSN degree, and an active Colorado nursing license. CNAs needed part-time to full-time to supplement our current staff. Our CNAs provide Home Health and Hospice patient care in the home, in nursing facilities and in assisted living facilities. An active Colorado CNA license is required. Experienced SLP needed part-time to serve our mountain and foothills communities, specifically within our service area along the I-70 corridor. A Master’s degree, 4+ years of experience and an active Colorado license are required. Experienced Social Worker (LCSW preferred) needed to support Palliative Care and Hospice patients and their families. Relevant home health, palliative, and counseling experience preferred. Must be able to provide home visits to patients in the mountain communities west of Denver, including both the I-70 and 285 corridors, and be available for a 24 to 32 hour weekly schedule. Home health, hospice and geriatric experience preferred for all clinical positions. Our service area encompasses the mountain communities within Jefferson, Clear Creek, Gilpin and Park counties (along both the I-70 and 285 corridors).
