A former Englewood police officer will spend 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to sexual contact without consent in a Highlands Ranch incident, the office of 18th District Attorney George Brauchler announced. Anna McCain, 24, was sentenced for the class 1 misdemeanor June 9. She will also serve five years of intensive supervised probation for sexual offenders, according to a news release from the district McCain attorney’s office. Other counts against her were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. The incident began when on March 14, 2019, a woman and several friends from the Englewood Police Department, including McCain, went to dinner and a club together, according to the release. “Afterward, they went back to her home in Highlands Ranch,” according to the release.
