Platte Valley doctors, nurses look back on COVID-19 BY BELEN WARD BWARD@COLORADOCOMMUNITYMEDIA.COM

Jonathan Seib is a Charge Nurse and Clinical Coordinator for the Intermediate Care and Medical Surgery unit at Platte Valley Medical Center for about three years. Seib was a news reporter before but always had an interest in the medical profession. “I had two goals, the first goal I became a reporter and writer for five years,” said Seib. Then one day Seib decided to reinvent himself and became a nurse. “I felt like I wanted to directly help people,” Seib said. “I was at a point in my life, with the support of my family, I wanted to go back to school full time, so I decided to go back to school for my other passion the medical field, and become a nurse.” The virus hit in multiple phases Ann Healey, former co-owner of Colorado Community Media, speaks during a meeting announcing the sale of the print and and it was overwhelming for Seib digital news company.
