2023 Evergreen Rodeo Royalty

Hannah Norris

2023 Evergreen Rodeo Princess

Hello everyone, my name is Hannah Norris and I’m your 2023 Evergreen Rodeo Princess!

I am fourteen years old, and a freshman at Conifer High School.

I am involved in many activities. I ride horses and have since I was five. I also show cattle in 4-H and the American Highland Cattle Association. Outside of animals, I also play music. I sing and I play viola and guitar.

My favorite thing about Evergreen is its unique geography. The mountains, forests, and creeks make the area unique and beautiful, creating the perfect place to have events. That’s why I love the Evergreen Rodeo! Not only has it been a host for many of my memories, but it’s beautiful landscape and exciting sport have always made it one of my favorites. I would love for you to come to see for yourselves why the Evergreen Rodeo is the best, and to meet the Evergreen Rodeo Royalty!

Amanda Cook

2023 Evergreen Rodeo

Miss Evergreen Rodeo

Howdy y’all! My name is Amanda Cook, and I am your 2023 Miss Evergreen Rodeo. It is such an extreme honor and responsibility to represent not only the beautiful community of Evergreen, but also my hometown.

I am 21 years old and was born and raised in Evergreen under the roof of my amazing parents Shane and Theresa Cook, alongside my 6 other siblings! I have been riding horses since I was 6 months old, and made that love grow by competing for Evergreen Rodeo Junior Princess in 2011. After finishing my reign as Junior Princess, I joined the Westernaires at the age of 11 with my entire family. We performed all over, traveling with the Westernaires not only in-state but out-of-state as well. I graduated Westernaires at the age of 19 off Varsity Big Red at the National Western Stock Show, as well as 6 other Varsity level performance teams including trick and fancy riding.

I now am a sophomore in college at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology studying veterinary technician certifications as well as other specialties.

Growing up I can always remember my favorite part of the summer being the Evergreen Rodeo and Parade. I can’t remember a year of not attending and watching the royalty ride through the arena presenting the rodeo with such grace, beauty, and honor. I can remember telling my parents that would be me one day with a horse of my own.

As I place this crown on my hat and sash on my shoulder, I look forward to continuing traveling all over Colorado, furthering my education as well as educating fans not only about the great sport we call rodeo, but also about the western way of life.

I am honored to be your 2023 Miss Evergreen Rodeo; see y’all Father’s Day weekend in Evergreen!

Josie Sandifer 2023 Evergreen Rodeo Jr. Princess

Hey there everyone! My name is Josie Sandifer, and I am your 2023 Evergreen Rodeo Junior Princess. I am so grateful that I get to represent not just the Evergreen Rodeo, but my hometown as well. This year will be a blast and I cannot wait to see what it all holds!

I am happy that I call Greystone Ranch my home. This is where my love for horses came to life. I had my first ride when I was one and a half years old. Now I have an amazing 18-year-old quarter horse named Smokey. He enjoys playing in the lake and loves eating grass. Doing anything that involves being with animals and the outdoors is my thing. Some of my favorite things to do are hunting, paddle boarding, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and of course, riding horses.

My family and I have been going to the Evergreen Rodeo and Parade ever since I was born. Rodeo has always been a big part of my life, and now getting the honor of representing the Evergreen Rodeo and helping people learn more about the Western way of life, is a dream come true!

I can’t wait to learn more and be able to give people knowledge about one of the toughest sports out there and learn new things every day! Come on out to the Evergreen Rodeo this Father’s Day Weekend to celebrate the beautiful Western tradition of rodeo!
