It’s time to hoot, holler, and kick up your heels because Evergreen’s Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) Rodeo event is “on the road again!” A Father’s Day weekend tradition for 56 years in Evergreen, Colorado, this national circuit rodeo returns to El Pinal Rodeo Grounds on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19. Thanks to venue owners Judy and Kenny Jeronimus, a rodeo party will kick-off the festivities at The Little Bear on Friday, June 17 at 5:00pm and music will be provided by Ryan Chrys & the Rough Cuts, Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame’s 2019 Band of the Year winners. Evergreen Rodeo Association’s volunteer members work diligently year-round to ensure the rodeo (a nonprofit event) puts on the best possible show for our incredible community. In addition, the organization has announced that its new gal in charge of merchandise, Katy Seelhoff, will showcase lots of exciting offerings for folks, including clothing, sundries, and other rodeo-related items Rodeo Weekend in Evergreen commences at 10:00am

with a downtown parade on Saturday, June 18. This outstanding rousing spectacle of fanfare marches through downtown Evergreen as a forerunner to the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon rodeo performances. The parade’s 2022 Grand Marshall is Jerry Tolman who has been involved with the Evergreen Rodeo Association for over 50 years! The 2022 Evergreen Rodeo features quality-bred livestock and introduces and showcases national top rodeo professionals who will demonstrate their cowboy skills at riding broncos, roping calves, wrestling steers, and more! On Saturday, gates open at 3:00pm and the PRCA Pro Rodeo performance starts at 5:00pm. On Sunday, gates open at 12:00pm and the PRCA Pro Rodeo performance starts at 2:00pm.
