Cherry Hills Village Police are investigating after a man was found dead on Feb. 9 in Little Dry

Creek beneath the Clarkson Avenue bridge, on the border with Englewood just a block south of U.S. 285. Two teenagers found the man, later identified as Christopher Rose, 52, in the creek around sunset on

Feb. 9, Cherry Hills Village Police Chief Michelle Tovrea said. Rose’s cause of death has not yet been determined, said Shannon Sanamo, a medical legal investigator for the Arapahoe County Rose Coroner’s Office. Rose was found in the creek itself, she

confirmed, though how long he was there was not immediately apparent. Rose had no fixed address, she said. Rose’s last registered address was the Aspen Homeless Shelter in Pitkin County, state records show. Autopsy results could take several more weeks. SEE CREEK DEATH, P13
