A sketch and preliminary plans for Legacy Village were approved by the Elizabeth Board of Trustees

during the board’s Jan. 26 meeting. Plans for Legacy Village, being developed by Jim Marshall, are in the early stages, and Marshall has not submitted an application for the final plat. “There are three steps in the subdivision process,” said Grace Erickson, assistant town administrator for Elizabeth. “The first is a sketch plan, then preliminary plan

and then the final plat. The developer has gone through the first two steps. The next step includes platting whatever portion of the property they will develop first.” The property proposed for development is between Walmart and Safeway along State Highway 86, and was zoned for up to 383 residential units and a five-acre commercial parcel, according to
