The power of one vote is on display in the Republican primary for Elbert County District 2 commissioner. That’s what separates the two candidates, one of whom will emerge the winner after a recount. Pettitt Rick Pettitt: 2,994 votes. Anthony Hartsook: 2,993 votes. The latest results were released July 6 by the county clerk and recorder’s office.
