MORE THAN A MEAL: Program at local church helps those in need P10
A giant white fir Christmas tree arrived early the morning of Nov. 2 at the Outlets at Castle Rock. The tree stands 55 feet tall and will remain at the center through the end of the year. In the coming weeks, branches that were removed from the base of the tree for safe transport will be reattached and more than 8,000 twinkling lights and 5,000 bows and ornaments will be added. The tree is being trimmed in preparation for the free, family-friendly Tree Lighting Concert on Nov. 11. This year’s concert will include performances by pop boy band In Real Life, country music duo Waterloo Revival and 2016 CMA Global Artist of the Year Morgan Evans. COURTESY PHOTO
