The Cripple Creek District Museum will be hosting a book signing holiday event for two regional authors, Cripple Creek native John Sharpe and Colorado Springs writer and photographer Bert Entwhistle. Sharpe’s first novel, No More Bull, features Dr. Gil Tailor, a fictional veterinarian, in a Western murder mystery set near La Veta, Colorado. Entwhistle’s novel, The Drift, involves multi-layered mysteries and intrigue in the “drifts” or tunnels beneath Cripple Creek. Both novels feature well-known locations and familiar characters drawn from the area and its rich historic past.
