Serving burgers and beer

Cherry Cricket, the iconic Denver staple for burgers and beer, has ofcially opened its doors in Littleton. After breaking ground in December, the Cherry Cricket team has been working to renovate the former Crestwood Restaurant at 819 Littleton Blvd. into a space that continues the site’s legacy and matches the new restaurant’s energy.

Community members celebrated on Facebook when the restaurant made the announcement that it would open at 11 a.m. on June 22.

“Stoked,” wrote Eric Boyle, a commenter on Facebook. “Look forward to the great food, people, service, and new place to watch hockey next season!” e new location features indoor seating and a festive outdoor patio, where their classic burgers, beers, shakes and more will be served. e original restaurant dates back to 1945, when the rst location opened as “Mary Zimmerman’s Bar” in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood. In 2018, the group established their second Cherry Cricket near Coors Field. e Littleton location marks the expansion of the brand, as well as a new local go-to for neighbors and visitors alike. e Littleton Cherry Cricket’s ofcial ribbon cutting is set for midJuly, when the Littleton Chamber of Commerce and others will publicly welcome the new restaurant to the city.
