Councilors will see a new version of an ordinance allowing restricted marijuana sales in Brighton city limits in February that expands the area where the stories can be and allows them in clusters. Councilors approved a marijuana sales ordinance on the first reading in October, but tabled the second reading on the ordinance until the new City Council was elected and had begun work. That new council had its first opportunity to review that ordinance at the Jan. 23 study session. They are scheduled to vote on it at their Feb. 6 meeting. Martinez said his staff had talked with marijuana retailers after the first reading and they recommended some changes. SEE RULES, P2
