NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON EXCLUSION OF PROPERTY FROM COTTONWOOD GREENS METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 2

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been filed with the Board of Directors of Cottonwood Greens Metropolitan District No. 2 (the “District”), City of Fort Lupton, Weld County, a petition praying that certain property, which is described below, be excluded from the boundaries of the District. One hundred percent (100%) of the owners of the property identified in the petitions have given their consent to the exclusion of the property from the District’s boundaries.

The name and address of the petitioner is Cottonwood Development Partners, LLC, whose address is 4040 MacArthur Blvd., Ste. 250, Newport Beach, CA 92660. The properties for which exclusion is sought is generally described as parcels of land located north of Ninth Street at College Avenue, and on the southwest corner of 14th Street and Weld County Road 31 in the City of Fort Lupton.

Accordingly, notice is hereby given to all interested persons that they shall appear at a public hearing at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2022, and show cause in writing why the petition should not be granted. Pursuant to § 32-1-903 CRS, as amended, the public hearing will be conducted electronically, telephonically or by other virtual means. Monarch Mountain Minerals and Aggregates, LLC., whose address and phone number is 2660 West 64th Avenue, Denver CO 80221, 303-3763338, has filed an application for a Regular (112) Construction Materials Operation Reclamation Permit Amendment with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed mine site is known as the Monarch DENM Gravel Mine, and is located at Section 19, Township 4 North, Range 66 West, 6th Prime Meridian, in Weld County Colorado.

The proposed date of commencement is the second half of 2022, and the proposed date of completion is 2059. The proposed future use of the land is water storage.
