The Board of Directors may continue the public hearing to a subsequent meeting. The failure of any person within the Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District to file a written objection shall be taken as an assent on his or her part to the inclusion of the property.

CITY OF FORT LUPTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Fort Lupton is in receipt of an application submitted by Mandi Hagler and Lee Hagler for a special use permit for a property located north and adjacent to County Road 22 and approximately 0.20 miles east of County Road 19 in Weld County, CO pursuant to the City of Fort Lupton Municipal Code Notice Requirements. In the 50-yard freestyle, FHS took five of the top eight slots. Kyla Mares (28.37 seconds) was second. Jenna Camblin (32.12) was fifth. Emma VonBank (33.43) was sixth, Kyle Dionysius (36.26) was seventh, and Alexia Galyardt was eighth in a time of 37.57.

Yadhira Carrazco finished the 200- freestyle in econd place with her time of 2:29.9. Kennedy Rhodes was fourth in the 200- individual medley, posting a time of 3;12.71. Malia Jeffers was fourth in the 500- freestyle with her time of 9:22.96. FHS’ 200- freestryle relay foursome (Mares, Jenna Camblin, Kennedy Rhodes and Allred) was third in a time of 1;57.35.

The 200- medley relay team (Elsa Burgesser, Allred, Mares and Rhodes) finished fourth in a time of 2;18.89. The 400- freestyle relay squad (Mares, Dionysius, Carrazco and Zink) was fourth in a time of 5:03.71.

Wrestling

The Warriors took 14th at the Mile High Classic at Thomas Jefferson High School Jan. 29.

Santana Leon took third at 113 pounds. Diego Rangel was third at 145 pounds. Kayler Read wound up fifth at 132 pounds.

Wrestling

Fort Lupton downed Fort Morgan 46-19 in Fort Morgan Jan. 26.

On-mat winners for the Bluedevils were Donovan Birmingham (113 pounds), D’mitri Garza-Alarcon (138), Danny Rodriguez (145), William Alvarado (152), Isaac Rodriguez (160), Christopher Galicia (170), Alex Mata (182) and Kayden Derbigny (220).

Girls wrestling

Fort Lupton doubled up Mead 36-18 in Fort Lupton Jan. 24.

Genevieve Hunt of the Bluedevils won her 118-pound match. Lashya Tijerina (127), and Anastyn Livesay (161) also won their on-mat matches.

FLHS downed Northridge 39-15 in Greeley Jan. 27. On-mat wins came from Rylee Balcazar (100), Paige Jaramillo (111), Valerie Villalobos (136), Danya Almaral (147) and Anastyn Livesay (161).

The Bluedevils took fourth at the Chatfield Girls War Horse Invitational Jan. 29.

Balcazar won the 100-pound championship. AngelRae Gasca was fourth at 215 pounds, and Genevieve Hunt was fifth at 118 pounds.

Girls basketball

Weld Central stopped Fort Lupton 42-15 in Keenesburg Jan. 25. Lacey Schliefelbein led the Rebels with 19 points. Jolie McBride was next with nine. No stats were available for FLHS.

Englewood beat the Bluedevils 40-15 on the Pirates’ floor Jan. 27. Alex Harkness led the victors with nine points. Jaliyah Mora added seven, and Alex Briones contributed six points. No stats were available for the Bluedevils.

Fort Lupton beat Weld Central 58-50 in Fort Lupton Jan. 25. Abdul Alarape led the Rebels with 10 points. Jace Cornelius and Brenden Buzzell added eight. No stats were available for the Bluedevils.
