C.R.S. § 19-5-103.5 in order to make the child available for adoption.
Placing a child for adoption requires termination of the birth mother and alleged birth father(s) parentchild legal relationships. Termination of parental rights means that pursuant to a court order, all rights powers, privileges, immunities, duties and obligations existing between a parent and a child are permanently severed, except for inheritance rights, which will be severed at the time of the final decree of adoption.
