The Englewood School District saw its highest graduation rate in 13 years after the Colorado Depart-
ment of Education released the overall rates Jan. 9. Information released from the state board of education shows Englewood’s graduation rate — the average of Englewood High School and the alternative Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice — improved by 7.8 percentage points. The state said the district’s fouryear graduation rate went from

56.4% in 2022 to 64.2% in 2023. The four-year graduation rate for Englewood High School went up 5 percentage points from 72.4% in 2022 to 77.4% in 2023, while the four-year graduation rate for Colorado’s Finest’s improved by 6.9 percentage points, from 34.1% in 2022 to 41.0% in 2023, the district said.
