Studio is gathering place for art
BY BY RACHEL LORENZ SPECIAL TO COLORADO COMMUNITY MEDIA
Art has always been an escape and a passion for Christina Limpalair. Now it’s also a part of her livelihood.
e 31-year-old Highlands Ranch resident opened Glaze & Phase, a studio for painting pottery, near the intersection of South Broadway and East Belleview on Nov. 21. She sees the bright, quirky shop as a place where people can step away from their busy lives and lose themselves for a couple of hours on a project.
“ e whole point is to facilitate creating art with other people and just allowing them to have a space to spark their own imaginations,” Limpalair told Colorado Community Media.

Glaze & Phase stocks a wide variety of ceramic items, from kid-friendly gurines to dinnerware and home accents, that can be painted with any of 50 di erent colorful glazes. Customers can nish their piece in one sitting or leave it on the shop’s work-inprogress shelf and complete it over several visits at no additional cost.
