Denver Audubon is accepting applications for its next Audubon Master Birder program, which begins in July. ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO
PUBLIC NOTICE & OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general public and any interested parties are invited to provide comment and input regarding the County’s plan to utilize HOME Investment Partnerships Program-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds to address community needs, reduce homelessness and increase housing stability.
The County’s HOME-ARP Allocation plan establishes funding priorities and allocations for the $2,691,031 one-time entitlement program, and will be submitted for approval as part of a substantial amendment to the County’s 2021 Annual Action Plan.

Housing and Homeless Services staff will complete a Study Session and Business Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to review the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan and provide an opportunity for public comment and feedback.
The BOCC study session, which is open to the public, will be held in person on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM or shortly thereafter in the West Hearing Room of the County Administration Building, located at 5334 S Prince Street, Littleton, CO 80120.
Following the study session, the BOCC will host a Business Meeting, which is open to the public, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 9:30 AM or shortly thereafter in the East Hearing Room of the County Administration Building, located at 5334 S Prince Street, Littleton, CO 80120 to approve the HOME- and authorize submittal of the and approval.

To whom it may concern: This notice is given with regard to items in the custody of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office that have been released for public auction. REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS
On or about 4/3/2023 Arapahoe County will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of HOME funds, under title II of the CranstonGonzales National Affordable Housing Act, to undertake the following project:
Project Title: Eagle Street Homes
Project: This project will provide 93 new family units affordable for households with incomes ranging from 30% - 80% AMI. The Average Income mid-point is 48% of the Area Medium Income (AMI) with 23% of the units as 1 Bedroom (BDr), 51% at 2 BDR and 26 % 3 BDr Location: 14875 E 2nd Ave, Aurora, CO 80012.
Estimated Cost: Roughly up to $500,000 in Arapahoe County HOME funds. The total estimated Phase I project cost is $27.5 million.
SIGNIFICANT IMPACT
FINDING OF NO
Arapahoe County has determined that the project will have no significant impact on the human environment. Therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) is not required. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to Arapahoe County, Community resources. All comments received by 4/3/2023 will be considered by Arapahoe County prior to authorizing the submission of a request for Release of Funds. Comments should specify which Notice they are addressing.
ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION

Arapahoe County, Katherine Smith, Arapahoe County Director of Community Resources, in his/ her capacity as Official Title consents to accept the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts if an action is brought to enforce responsibilities in relation to the environmental review process and that these responsibilities have been satisfied. HUD’s State’s approval of the certification satisfies its responsibilities under NEPA and related laws and authorities and allows Arapahoe County to use Program funds.
OBJECTIONS TO RELEASE OF FUNDS
HUD/State will accept objections to its release of funds and Arapahoe County’s certification for a period of fifteen days following the anticipated submission date or its actual receipt of the request (whichever is later) only if they are on one of the following bases: (a) the certification was not executed by the Certifying Officer Arapahoe County; (b) Arapahoe County has omitted a step or failed to make a decision or finding required by HUD regulations at 24 CFR part 58; (c) the grant recipient or other participants in the development process have committed funds, incurred costs or undertaken activities not authorized by 24 CFR Part 58 before approval of a release of funds by HUD/State; or (d) another Federal agency acting pursuant to 40 CFR Part 1504 has submitted a written finding that the project is unsatisfactory from the standpoint of environmental quality.
