Brighton selects Labrie as Public Works Director

Brighton City Manager Michael Martinez is pleased to announce the appointment of T. Greg Labrie as the city’s new director of public works.

As director, Labrie will plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Public Works department including street ser- vices, transportation planning, and infrastructure construction

Labrie has worked for Adams County since 2007 where he most recently served as development engineering manager responsible for all phases of planning, design, and construction of transportation and development projects. Prior to this position, Labrie worked as a senior engineer and engineer III. a 0.15% sales tax increase, which would cost consumers 15 cents on a

Before joining Adams County, Labrie was the President and CEO of Brie Corp., Inc. where he helped strategic planning and other services for startup businesses.

Labrie earned his master’s degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern University. Labrie also has his professional engineer license and is a certi ed public manager, certi ed oodplain manager and certi ed project manager.
