comfort with the idea at the April 5 first reading – where the sole no votes as the Brighton City Council approved Bird scooters for the city on second reading April 19. With Councilor Matt Johnston absent, the measure passed by a vote of 6-2. Pollack was the only councilor to speak on the matter at the April 19 meeting. “They may be fun, but I think it’s going to be very dangerous and I suspect within a year someone is going to say ‘Wait a minute.
