The Evergreen Rodeo Parade is back — with horses, local groups and classic cars that have always made the festival a great time for young and old, locals and visitors. The longstanding Evergreen tradition on June 19 had something for everyone — including the candy tossed to children along the parade route on Main Street in downtown Evergreen. Before the parade started, Rocky the Leprechaun rode on an ATV, calling to the crowd, “Are you ready for a big parade?” to which everyone yelled “yes” with enthusiasm. The people sitting in the back of the Cactus Jack’s Saloon and Grill truck brought along a few water balloons to have fun with the crowd, and they were challenged by attendees who had some water balloons, too — all in good fun.
