Girls golf
FORT LUPTON -- Brighton’s Nikki Antonopoulos was the team medalist at the June 7 regional golf tournament at Coyote Creek Golf Course. She fi red a 104 and fi nished 31st in the stroke-play standings.
Linda Chavarria and Zia Gonzales turned in scores of 108 and fi nished in a tie for 32nd place.
BHS was ninth in the team standings.

Baseball
Legend beat Brighton 17-12 on Legend’s fi eld June 12. BHS ended the regular season on a four-game losing streak.
Braden Doumer had four hits and fi ve RBIs for Legend. Aaron Kidd chipped in with two base hits and drove in three runs. No stats were available for the Bulldogs.
Girls soccer
Brighton scored twice in the second half to beat Prairie View 3-1 June 8 on Brighton’s fi eld. The win sews up an Eastern Metro Athletic Conference title for the Bulldogs.
Elizabeth Heril, Faith Rivero and Karly Lambert scored the goals for BHS. Goalie Katie Powers made nine saves.
State 5A playo pairings are due out Sunday, June 13. First-round matches at the higher seeds are Tuesday, June 15.
BHS fi nished the regular season with a 4-1 win over Frederick on Brighton’s pitch June 10. No stats were available for either team.

Girls golf
DENVER -- Prairie View’s Lily Nelson qualifi ed for this year’s state 5A girls golf tournament June 7 at City Park Golf Course.
She carded a 76, which put her in a tie for second place in the individual stroke play standings. The top two teams and the top 13 individuals not on those teams advanced to the state meet at City Park starting June 21.
Jordan Mitchell fi nished with a 121, and Maddie Klink carded a 124. The T-Hawks were 11th in the team stroke standings.
Baseball
Loveland downed Prairie View 8-5 June 7 in Brighton. Garret Harstad had two hits and an RBI for the Indians. Jerrett Cabrera, Joey Killian, Carter LeBen, Kyle Powell, Jax Stephenson, Hudson Voggesser and Jackson Niederwerder drove in runs. No stats were available for PVHS.
Boulder handed the T-Hawks a 16-9 loss in Brighton on June 8. Sanchez had four hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Isaac Manaugh had two hits and three RBIs.
Jackson Woolwins had two hits and four RBIs for the Panthers. Adrien Armstrong had three hits and drove in four runs.
