During Spring remote learning on Zoom, Kindergarten teacher Sarah Ingham planned a new theme for her students each week. In the course of the week devoted to learning about bears, students read fiction and nonfiction books about bears, and they drew pictures about bears. Mrs. Ingham thought it only appropriate that the Kindergartners let their bears awake from hibernation for the Summer. And so, “Teddy Bear Tuesday” was born. “I knew the class would love Teddy Bear Tuesday,” she says. “And so did I!”
