Congratulations to the Colorado Academy Class of 2014! This class of 88 students includes several Presidential and Dean’s scholars, recruited college athletes, members of the All-State Choir, editors of CA’s award-winning student publications, portfolio artists, engineering enthusiasts, film makers, photographers, poets, and 18 students who have been part of the CA community since Kindergarten or Pre-K.
Each of these students is devoted to causes and communities beyond CA, whether helping an orphanage in Peru, or singing with patients at a senior center, or teaching adaptive swim classes or working with Special Olympics.
These students will depart for destinations from Walla Walla, Washington, to Waterville, Maine, and beyond. Each of them will enter four-year colleges and university programs.
Says one CA student, “You’ll be a part of lots of things and places throughout your life, but only a few places will always be a part of you.”
