Teachers and staff members recognized for over 30 years of work at district

PASO ROBLES — Twenty staff members were recognized for their over 30 years of work with the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) at the board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Laurene McCoy requested the board to reconsider Georgia Brown Elementary School moving back to the 36th Street campus.

PASO ROBLES — The Rhône Rangers Experience was a star-studded affair, with many prominent winemakers in attendance. Jason Haas of Tablas Creek Vineyard, Bob Lindquist of Lindquist Family Wines, Maggie Tillman of Alta Colina Vineyard and Winery, Jeremy Weintraub of Adelaida Vineyards and Winery, Tony

Quealy of Thacher Winery, Craig Camp of Troon Vineyard, and Cris Cherry of Villa Creek Vineyard were just some of the notable names present at the event.

The 500 enthusiastic attendees were thrilled to be part of the celebration and to taste some of the best Rhône-style wines in the country, despite the rainy weather that day. As the sun occasionally shone through the clouds at the Paso Robles Event Center, they eagerly made their way to the seminar to learn about the “Rhône Essentials.”

The seminar was hosted by an esteemed panel of winemakers, who shared their knowledge and experience of making Rhône-style wines. The guests were eager to learn from these experts, gaining insight into the complexities of these wines and the passion that goes into producing them.

After the seminar, the guests enjoyed the Vintner’s Luncheon, where they were treated to a sumptuous meal paired with Rhône-style wines. The wine-

In February 2022, trustees approved the following plan regarding the Glen Speck and Georgia Brown campuses: Glen Speck staff and students will move to the new Glen Speck campus on 17th Street as soon as completed next Fall. At that time, Georgia Brown staff and students will move to the temporary site on 36th Street, where they will stay while the 36th Street campus is renovated to accommodate about 400 students.

This will become the new Glen Speck Elementary site when that construction is complete, and Georgia Brown will move to the 17th Street site. In the end, they will have two new schools on the west side. The attendance boundaries for Glen Speck will be all of the district west of 101,
