REGISTRATION

Registration can be completed online, in-person, or over the phone. Service fees apply for online registration and are non-refundable. Non-residents may register for programming and each class will incur a $5 non-resident fee.

Recreation Center

Membership

Memberships are available to residents ages 13 and over at no cost. Memberships are required for residents participating in any recreation class, program, activity, or free play. A valid driver’s license is required to verify residency. Residents ages 13-17 must have a parent present to issue a membership. Residents 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a membership.

Valentine's Day Yoga

Join us for a fun and upbeat yoga class this Valentine's Day weekend! Colleyville's very own, Inspire Yoga, will be teaching a fun and upbeat class at the Colleyville Center. Bring a friend, a loved one, or anyone you'd like and enjoy some Valentine's Day treats!

Clean Sweep

This event offers residents a onestop drop off event with five stations: household hazardous waste disposal, document shredding, bulk trash (brush, furniture, bulky items, appliances, and small amounts of construction materials from doit-yourself projects), electronics recycling (computers, printers, electronic devices, and old television sets), and automotive tires (separated tires and rims).

Concert in the Plaza Series

Portrait Painting Challenge

Put your portrait painting skills to the test! Bring your friends or family for an evening of creativity, laughter, and connection. Participants will paint portraits of one another and reveal their masterpieces after they're done. All supplies are included. Preregistration required.

Winter Ball

Winter Ball 2026 presents an 80’s themed dance for mothers and sons (or mother figures) and fathers and daughters (or father figures). Activities will include a deejay, professional photos, gift bags, balloon drop, and lots of fun. Dessert and refreshments will be served. Tickets go on sale Dec. 29 for residents and Jan. 5 for non-residents. Bug Me Art Camp

You are being bugged! This art camp is all about bugs, reptiles, nighttime adventures, and the teeny tiny world of insects. We’ll create bug habitats, design mazes, and participate in creepy crawler races while learning about bug and reptile characteristics. Join Abrakadoodle, “the best art class to bring out your child’s inner Picasso,” for this buggy camp filled with insect art, mini-worlds, and creative learning experiences! A separate $25 supply fee is due to the instructor the day of the class.

Wild About Animals Art Camp

Welcome to the wonderful world of animals! From deserts and savannas to rainforests and the Arctic Circle, we will learn about animals and their habitats. We will create animals in all shapes, sizes, and colors. We will discover the special ways they move around, their unique ways to communicate, and how animals adapt to survive in their habitats. We will design toucans, monkeys, lions, and camels inspired by artists. We will create masterpieces with ostriches, polar bears, llamas, river otters, squirrels, and stingrays! Each lesson will introduce fun art techniques while we explore STEAM concepts. A separate $25 supply fee is due to the instructor the day of the class.

Get ready for nonstop action, sports, and fun this spring break with Beginners Edge Sports Training! B.E.S.T. Sports Multi-Sport Spring Break Camp is the ultimate way for campers to stay active and build skills all while playing their favorite sports and camp games! The week will be packed with a variety of different sports including, but not limited to: soccer, basketball, football, baseball, and volleyball, plus classic camp favorites like kickball, dodgeball, four square, and more! With a mix of structured training and exciting activities, campers will build confidence, improve skills, and have a blast this break with B.E.S.T. Sports!

Everyday Engineering (AM)

In this new engineering camp, students will work to complete a variety of engineering challenges. Some lessons will challenge students to follow existing instructions to build a predetermined creation while learning about an engineering or physics concept. Most lessons will challenge students to build solutions of their own design that meets specific criteria to impact our real world.

Once upon a time… your child became the author of their own incredible stories! Whether it’s thrilling superhero adventures, magical Minecraft themed lands, or wild science experiments gone wrong, the possibilities for creativity are endless!

Robotics and Minecraft Masterminds: Mission to Mars! (AM)

Young explorers will blast off on a Mission to Mars—combining realworld robotics with creative Minecraft design to imagine life on the Red Planet. Using the Hummingbird Robotics Kit, students will build and code rovers, solar trackers, and rescue bots, while also designing digital Mars colonies and survival systems inside Minecraft Education Edition. Each day blends STEM learning, storytelling, and teamwork, encouraging campers to think like engineers, creators, and problem-solvers.

YOUTH CLASSES

Summer Youth Basketball League

The league is designed to introduce boys and girls to the game of basketball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental basketball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of 7-10 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have six weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Team t-shirts are available at registration for $15 each.

Team Registration

Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration.

Free Agent Registration

Free agent players will be placed on a team based on information provided at registration, if and when a coach volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to coach, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department. Staff will email practice and team details once a free agent player has been placed on a team. If staff is unable to place a free agent player on a team, a refund will be provided. Service fees assessed online are non-refundable. Free agent registration will end a week early on Apr. 17 to help accommodate team placement.

Our goal and focus is to maintain an energetic and highly active program that will teach, encourage, and advance your young players regardless of their skill level.

Toddler and Me Dance

Toddler and Me dance classes are for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. Music, movement, balance, and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly, and positive manner. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving while parents actively encourage, support, and keep the little dancer on track.

Ages: 18 months-3

Little Dancers

Jo-Ann’s Little Dancers equips children with basic art and dance techniques. By absorbing artistic expression and developing physical coordination, your little dancers will find their passion and joy in the dance industry! Girls on the Run is an afterschool youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grade. The FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Pavilions that are available for rent are City Park, Colleyville Nature Center, Kimzey Park, McPherson Park, and Sparger Park. Rentals include picnic tables. The Colleyville Nature Center is the only pavilion with a grill. Reservations can be made online at colleyvilleparksandrec.com.
