TRITON FOOD PANTRY at check-in on Saturday

Dear fellow Triton families,

Whether you’re new to the Triton family or you’ve been part of it for a while, we’re so excited to be here at Family Weekend with you. As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to feel connected to your student’s college experience. We hope you take full advantage of this weekend: attend events, ask questions, explore campus and get in the Triton spirit! We also encourage you to connect with other Triton families while you’re here. There is so much value in building relationships with fellow parents and supporters who understand both the pride and the challenges of this journey. The more we support one another, the better we can all support our students.

Each year, the Triton Food Pantry provides fresh produce, canned goods and other groceries for more than 5,000 students.

TRITON FOOD PANTRY: FUELING STUDENT SUCCESS

51%

of UC San Diego undergraduate students are facing some form of food insecurity.

Each year, the Triton Food Pantry provides fresh produce, canned goods and other groceries to over 5,000 students across UC San Diego’s eight colleges and five graduate schools. Our goals are to ensure that every student has enough energy to get through the day and that no student

ever has to give up a single meal for any reason. Both visible and discreet, the Triton Food Pantry provides students a dignified way to access no-cost foods while also serving as a gateway to the broader range of resources offered by The Hub Basic Needs Center.

Scan the QR code to learn how you can help provide students with the resources they need to thrive — both in and out of the classroom.
