igh Impact Practices (HIPs) are evidence-based teaching and learning practices that have been widely tested and shown to be beneficial for college students. HIPs increase the probability of

Study Abroad is credit-bearing, field-based, experiential learning that occurs outside the United States. Our colleges offer a strong Study Abroad program jointly administered through the Tennessee Consortium for International Studies.

Technology Enhanced Learning leverages online games, multimedia, productivity applications, cloud computing, ePortfolio and mobile devices to facilitate learning and improve student performance.

Undergraduate Research is a credit-bearing inquiry/investigation in which students make an original, intellectual scholarly activity or creative contribution to the discipline.

ormer Army Sgt. Chris Walters enlisted in the Army after graduating from Nashville’s Stratford High School. He fought in the first
