SPIRITUAL WARFARE

There is a sense of heightened conflict in society today, between how our tax dollars are used, how our schools are run, COVID, generational differences, and worldview divergences. But have we lost sight of the ultimate conflict, and more importantly our resources for victory in it? At College Church, we will be looking at the Bible’s teaching about the ultimate conflict in which we are involved: our Spiritual Warfare.

With confusion among Christians and lack of clarity about what the Bible teaches about Spiritual Warfare, we will be looking at how the Book of Ephesians teaches us to be “strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might” and to “put on the whole armor of God,” and so be victorious. Join us for this new series starting on August 22. You will find that many Christians, as well as those on the fringes of church life, will be interested in what the Bible has to say about Spiritual Warfare and are looking for a new sense of victory in their lives.

We will be producing invitation postcards so that we can invite our friends and neighbors for the start of the series. We will have specific titles for each of the weeks—the “Shield of Faith,” “the Sword of the Spirit,” etc.—so that you can know what is coming up and be able to invite friends for specific Sundays, too, and their specific message.

Our prayer is that God will use the sermon series to glorify his name, edify his people, and proclaim the gospel to the world around in these days!
