Members spotlight

This month, we are featuring Sandra Duarte, a remarkable businesswoman who has spent 30 years helping businesses grow and overcome challenges. She holds impressive qualifications, including studies in Printing Technology & Administration, Marketing, Business Sales, Frontline Management, People Management, and Leadership & Management.

Sandra began working at a Tourism Publishing Company at age 17 and eventually became General Manager, leading the company to win the NSW & Australian Tourism Awards.

Later, she became one of the few female CEOs in Australian Print & Packaging Manufacturing, scaling the business from the brink of administration to becoming an industry leader. Her focus on a niche market brought over a million dollars worth of work back to Australia from China.

Sandra is dedicated to empowering the next generation and giving back to the community. She volunteers with Inspiring the Future Australia, is a keynote speaker and mentor for various high schools, and is the Chair for the CBCC Youth Committee. She started her own Business Management Consulting business in 2022 and is also a part of the advisory boards of different companies.

Sandra's passion for different languages and cultures is evident in her ability to speak, read and write Portuguese and Italian, and conversational in Spanish and Greek. She is a member of the Portuguese Australian Women's Association.

Sandra's contributions to the business world and the community are commendable. We are proud to have her as a Board Member of the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Women in Leadership Panel. Her dedication to empowering the next generation and giving back to the community is truly inspiring, and we wish her continued success.
