UPLIFTING OUR DESTINATION CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN

As we step confidently into the new year and the future, the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce remains steadfast in its mission to elevate our vibrant region as a premier destination for business, innovation, and community engagement. Our diverse community, rich cultural heritage, and growing business ecosystem position Canterbury Bankstown, and Sydney South- West, as a beacon of opportunity.

By fostering collaboration among local enterprises, government partners, and community leaders, we are shaping a future where innovation meets tradition, and prosperity is shared by all.

“Uplifting our destination” is more than a theme — it is a commitment. A commitment to supporting our local businesses, investing in youth development, championing sustainability, and enhancing the lifestyle experiences that make our region unique.

Together, we will continue to create pathways for growth, attract investment, and position Canterbury Bankstown as a leading destination for businesses, talent, and visitors alike.

CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN CHAMBER OF COMERCE

Dr David Saliba (Fairfield)

The Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce works tirelessly to drive real change across South-West Sydney.

The chamber’s impact is exemplified through a number of key initiatives, including the BRAVE Project, which empowers stakeholders across all industries to join forces and empower women in the local community; the round table initiative, which aims to tackles critical challenges facing businesses today; and the CEO for a Day Program, which connects aspiring students with senior executives in the local community.

Boosting community engagement and connecting fellow entrepreneurs the chamber drives real change. I thank founding member and current CEO Wally Mehanna, as well as board members Bill Parasiris, Jason Arraj, Tracy Alexakis, Antoinette Khalil, Jessica Wehbe and Geoff Gaymer.

I thank them for boosting societal goals through business collaboration.
